Back in 1992, Dr. Kanady graduated with his medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard University, where he also served as a clinical fellow in radiation oncology.
With more than two decades of experience, Dr. Kanady is a highly experienced practitioner who has performed over three thousand prostate seed implants (brachytherapy). He is certified for SpaceOAR™ hydrogel application, which improves sexual function and reduces rectal toxicity from prostate radiation. He is also an expert in other modalities of radiation therapy, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy, image guidance radiotherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery including stereotactic ablative radiation for prostate cancer.
