Recognized as a top reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist & obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Hong serves as the Associate Laboratory Director of the RMANJ Embryology Laboratory. She operates out of the offices in Basking Ridge and Morristown, New Jersey.
Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ) is a premier fertility clinic with 10 locations in New Jersey, United States. Headquartered in Basking Ridge, the clinic is home to some of the most recognized fertility doctors in the world.
As one of the few reproductive endocrinologists in the nation who has trained in embryology, Dr. Hong finds this experience is crucial to improving patient care and dedicates a portion of her time to the embryology laboratory.

Having grown up in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Dr. Hong is excited and thankful to be able to give back to her home community. Treating the patient as a whole is her patient care philosophy. She strives to provide innovative medical care and does so with a caring and compassionate manner.
“It is a pleasure and honor to be trusted with the care of a couple at this significant time in their lives. The fertility journey that many couples experience can be all-consuming. Something that appears so easy for some can be very challenging for others. I am here to provide the medical support they need to succeed” she stated.
Not only do Dr. Hong and her team stay up-to-date on the latest fertility techniques, they consistently contribute to the development of new and revolutionary approaches to reproductive care. Her methods help patients who had previous difficulty conceiving, even with help from their physician. She has led several large research studies and contributed to publications in top peer-reviewed fertility journals, including Fertility and Sterility and Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics. Her research interests include embryo culture in the IVF laboratory, comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS), endometrial synchrony, and heritable genetic disorders.
Alongside her clinical role, Dr. Hong holds a position in the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology, Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
A graduate of the combined seven-year BA/MD program at Boston University, she performed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the prestigious New York-Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center. Thereafter, she went on to complete her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at RMANJ in the Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson fellowship program.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology & reproductive endocrinology and infertility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
Licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, Dr. Hong is affiliated with Short Hills Surgery Center, Morristown Medical Center, and Saint Barnabas Medical Center. As a parent herself, she understands the great joy of having a child, and hopes to bring that happiness to the patients she cares for.
Reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI) is a surgical subspecialty of obstetrics and gynecology that trains physicians in reproductive medicine addressing hormonal functioning as it pertains to the reproduction, as well as the issue of infertility. While most REI specialists primarily focus on the treatment of infertility, reproductive endocrinologists are trained to also evaluate and treat hormonal dysfunctions in females and males outside after the reproductive years.
In her spare time, Dr. Hong enjoys catching up on reading and spending time with her family. She speaks English, Chinese, and Spanish.
