A graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences, Dr. Chao went on to complete her residency in general surgery at Mary Immaculate Hospital, a Division of Catholic Medical Center. Thereafter, she completed her residency in nuclear medicine at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Campus, followed by her residency in family medicine at E.A. Conway Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
Following her education, the doctor became board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.
