She completed her surgical internship and residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue & NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, and then went on to complete her fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital. She also completed a clinical fellowship in endorectal ultrasound and anorectal physiology/manometry at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
As a testament to her success, she is board-certified in colon & rectal surgery by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. It is a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties that issues certificates for practitioners of colorectal surgery.
