Get to know Neurologist Dr. Moeen Din, who serves patients in Tucson, Arizona.

Dr. Din is a neurologist who is currently serving patients at Pima Neurology in Tucson, Arizona. Pima Neurology offers a wide range of services for patients in need. The practice analyzes neurological symptoms, provides special neurological treatment, and performs nerve conduction studies.

Additionally, Dr. Din has a deep interest in the complexities of the nervous system. He provides high quality medical care for conditions such as multiple sclerosis, headache, epilepsy, back pain, and stroke, just to name a few. In 1991, Dr. Din earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to complete his residency at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York. Thereafter, he completed his fellowship training in multiple sclerosis and neuro-immunology at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. 

Shortly after, he became board-certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). The ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. It deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous systems, including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effector tissue, such as muscle. Neurologists are medical specialists who diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles of patients. They examine a patient’s mental and physical status, conduct medical tests and scans, and evaluate the results to diagnose and treat the patient.
