Dr. Stubbs graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1993, where she also completed her internal medicine residency from 1993 to 1996. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University.
From August 1996 to October 2010, Dr. Stubbs served as an Internal Medicine Physician with IU Medical Group Primary Care in Indianapolis, Indiana. She then became a Staff Physician at St. Vincent Hospital, working there from 2010 to 2016. In February 2013, she transitioned into Managed Care, working for Centene Corporation as Medical Director, CareSource as Vice President of Medical Services and Anthem, Inc. as Regional Vice President. She is currently employed with Humana, Inc, as Chief Medical Officer for the Indiana market.
Dr. Stubbs’s credentials are further endorsed by her status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Certified Healthcare Insurance Executive.
