Get to know Dentist Dr. Narges Rashid Farokhi, who serves patients in Westford, Massachusetts.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Farokhi earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from UCLA in California. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University. 

Passionate about keeping up with the latest advances in dentistry, she completes many hours every year, furthering her education by taking accredited courses. 

Among her professional dental affiliations, she is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Merrimack Valley District Dental Society.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

Happily married with two daughters, Dr. Farokhi’s hobbies include swimming, reading, and traveling. She also enjoys time spent volunteering at her children’s school. She and her children are involved in many activities to help the community and surrounding areas.
