Acknowledged for his expertise Dr. Koukol has an unwavering commitment to excellence in urology and surgical care. With an impressive educational background and decades of experience, he continues to be a vital asset to the community and the field of urology.

Throughout his academic career, the doctor earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1983, followed by his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1987. 

Furthermore, he completed his internship at the same institution in 1988 before undertaking a rigorous general surgery residency at West Virginia University Hospital from 1988 to 1990. He then specialized in urology, completing his residency at West Virginia University Hospital from 1990 to 1994. 

In 1997, Dr. Koukol achieved board certification from the American Board of Urology and was recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, affirming his dedication to the highest standards of surgical care.

Since entering private practice in 1994, he has been a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, Urology, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he has contributed to the education and training of future urologists. His extensive training and experience have positioned him as a leader in the field, providing patients with comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.
