Dr. Georgiev’s impressive educational background reflects his dedication to excellence. He graduated from the University of Connecticut in just three and a half years, earning a double major in molecular and cell biology and physiology and neurobiology, alongside a minor in business. He then completed a Master of Arts Degree in Biotechnology at Columbia University and earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. His residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery was completed at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, where he honed his surgical skills.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Georgiev is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the New Jersey Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the New Jersey Dental Association.
