Dr. Marcum is a board-certified otolaryngologist and sinus specialist whose practice encompasses all aspects of otolaryngology, including adult and pediatric, with a special focus on allergy/sinus and innovative minimally invasive techniques. She performs a wide range of surgical procedures, including adenotonsillectomy, placement of ear tubes, nasal and sinus surgery, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, and removal of benign neck masses, at The Center for ENT in Houston, Texas.

A fighting Texas Aggie, Dr. Marcum graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She then received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed her residency at Wake Forest University in North Carolina, where she received the Patient Appreciation Award for three years in a row, among other awards throughout her education. 

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the doctor is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the North Carolina Medical Society. She is also board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, which serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

In her spare time, Dr. Marcum enjoys watching movies, running after her son, dressing up her daughters, and spoiling her dog.
