Throughout his academic career, he completed a fellowship at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Center, a residency at the University of Iowa, and a medical degree from the University of Missouri, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners, and holds licenses in both Oregon and Illinois.

Outside of his professional endeavors, he is a devoted family man who has raised three children with his wife in Oregon. In his leisure time, Dr. Mohler enjoys studying history, working on computers and automobiles, and engaging in outdoor activities such as golfing and skiing with his loved ones.
