Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Adam Nader, who serves patients in Florida.

Dr. Nader is an experienced cardiologist practicing in Florida, working out of Mount Sinai Medical Center (main campus) & HCA Florida Aventura Hospital.

He specializes in diagnostic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and preventive cardiovascular care. He believes that a healthy lifestyle assisted by medicine and technology, when necessary, can lead to a long and active life.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Nader graduated with his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Rush University Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Florida.

Passionate about his profession, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Furthermore, he is board-certified in echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Dr. Nader is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Society of Echocardiography.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).

During his tenure as a physician, Dr. Nader published 3 cardiology focused case studies and worked as a researcher on two different drug trials. He also received The Dr. William E. Matory Sr. Award of Excellence in Trauma and Critical Care Surgery in 2010.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading history, listening to music, as well as playing and watching basketball. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
