Get to know Invasive Cardiologist Dr. Ahmad Daraghmeh, who serves patients in Minot, North Dakota.

A board-certified invasive cardiologist and an expert in advanced cardiac imaging, Dr. Daraghmeh is affiliated with Trinity Hospital – St. Joseph’s in Minot, North Dakota. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered, evidence-based care, responsive to a patient’s concerns.

A non-acute hospital campus, Trinity Hospital – St. Joseph’s is a 165-bed facility that houses inpatient rehabilitation, kidney dialysis, inpatient behavioral health, addiction services, a same-day surgery center, and other support services.

A graduate of Al-Quds University Medical School in Jerusalem, Dr. Daraghmeh completed his residency in internal medicine at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island – Brown University. He did his fellowship in cardiology at Providence Hospital and Medical Center in association with Michigan State University, where he was named Chief Cardiology Fellow for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI), the doctor is board-certified in cardiac CT, echocardiography, cardiac nuclear medicine, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

After a year of service with Doctors Without Borders he practiced at Kansas Medical Center and Cypress Heart Cardiology in Wichita, and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Kansas University Medical School prior to joining Trinity Health.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
