A devoted obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Economus has been in private practice for more than 20 years, seeing patients at the offices in Youngstown and Salem, Ohio. He brings his experience and knowledge with him every step of the way in treating each patient, and is proud to have patients and staff who are still with him from his very first day of practice.

In addition to having over 25 years of experience in the delivery room, Dr. Economus provides personalized care and compassion to every mom, dad, and family. His staff brings their expertise both in the office and in the hospital: many staff members also have years of experience in the labor and delivery room.
A proud graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine, it is there that Dr. Economus became interested in the study of obstetrics and gynecology. His training there prepared him for his residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in his hometown of Youngstown. Upon completion of his residency, he chose to stay home to care for those in the town where he was born.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), the doctor is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
