With a diplomate status from the International Dental Implant Association, Dr. Abbiati is a well-rounded dentist who enjoys exploring new and creative methods of treatment. Dr. Abbiati attended Bucknell University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and East Asian Studies. He also holds an MBA and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Northeastern University. After earning degrees in an array of subjects, Dr. Abbiati transitioned to the world of science and health. He attended the University of North Florida for his post-baccalaureate in biology and chemistry. After graduating with high honors, Dr. Abbiati earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious University of Southern California School of Dentistry. With additional training on his mind, Dr. Abbiati pursued an advanced general practice residency at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.
With a continued passion for education, Dr. Abbiati has advanced training in short-term orthodontics, implants, sleep dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, oral surgery, bone grafting techniques, periodontics, and more. His experience working emergency rooms as a trauma dentist at Montefiore Medical Center and Los Angeles County Hospital gave him unmatched experience that continues to benefit him today.
Dr. Abbiati is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Florida Dental Association (FDA). The ADA is the nation’s largest dental association and is the leading source of oral health related information for dentists and their patients.
Dr. Abbiati has received numerous awards throughout his professional career, including the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Award in 2012, as well as the Consumer Research Council of America’s “America’s Top Dentist” Award in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. Dr. Abbiati was selected as the Naples Illustrated “Top Dentist” in 2018 and received the “Top Dentist” Award from Leading Physicians of America in 2019.
