Her Background includes a residency in OBGYN in Argentina and a Residency in Adult Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. Initially after graduation Dr Frieder worked at a Primary Care and High Risk OBGYN clinic at Montefiore Meical center. In 2015, Dr Frieder left Montefiore to join Northwell Health where she worked as the Director of Psychiatry at LIJ Forest Hills Hospital and at Zucker Hillside Hospital perinatal program, where she transitioned to be the physician in charge. There she had the oportunity to treat hundreds of women with complex psychiatric problems during the perinatal period. For the past 15 years, Dr Frieder has also been teaching and supervising psychiatrists in trainingand medical students, and in addition has had the oportunity to present in conferences and publish articlesin the field of reproductive psychiatry.
