Before training in pain management, Dr. Iskander worked as a pediatric anesthesiologist at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. During her time at the Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. Iskander was involved in research projects and in resident education. She also served as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Virginia Commonwealth University before moving to Texas.
Dr. Iskander also treats many conditions including low back and neck pain, sciatica, migranes, neuropathic pain, CRPS, knee, hip, and shoulder pain. She utilizes several interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections, medial branch nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablations, joint steroid or hyaluronate injections, Botox injections, and neuromodulation.
