Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Dr. Tobin completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Michigan State University and attended medical school at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine. He then went on to serve his rotating internship and residency in family medicine at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital.
A member of the American Osteopathic Association, he is board-certified in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, and Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP).
As a testament to his success, Dr. Tobin is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2008, 2009) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2011). He also achieved a Top Docs award for Family Practice medicine 2016, 2017, and 2018.
