Get to know Plastic Surgeon Dr. Amir Moradi, who serves patients in Vista, California.

An accomplished and compassionate plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Moradi specializes in facial, plastic, and reconstructive surgery in San Diego, California, founding Moradi MD in 2000 in order to serve the community with his expertise.

He is passionate about offering innovative and customized treatment methods for all of his patients, keeping their needs in mind. His expertise in his very own Moradi facelift, injectables, and laser techniques allow him to serve the San Diego community in a unique way, and he is fully-equipped to help make his patients’ cosmetic goals a reality.

In addition, his expertise includes knowledge and skill in both injectables and laser technologies, conducting research on products like Sciton lasers, Radiesse™ and BOTOX™. He strives to provide every patient with personalized, quality care, offering them some of the latest techniques to help take their aesthetics to the next level.

Dr/ Moradi and his team of skilled medical professionals strive to ensure that a patient’s cosmetic procedure delivers the results that they desire. Regarding his educational background, Dr. Moradi graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, where he received Phi Beta Kappa and National Honors Society awards. He then went on to complete his medical degree at the same institution. He continued with surgical training at Duke University Medical Center, completing a residency in head & neck surgery. In 2017, he completed his Master of Business Administration degree at The Wharton School.

With a focus on integrity, excellence and results, he is dual board-certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABO) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABPRS).

A member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Moradi has served on the Cooperative American Physicians Board of Directors and was the Chairman of the Patient Safety Committee. 

Known for his expertise in the field of plastic surgery, he holds medical privileges with Scripps Memorial Hospital and Tri City Medical Center.

Highly-trained in injections and laser technology, such technology includes the Sciton and BTL, which Dr. Moradi has consistently offered lectures on and pursued further education through research initiatives. Thanks to his extensive background, he specializes in a wide range of procedures, such as his very own facelift technique, rhinoplasty, CoolSculpting, and other body contouring techniques. He also offers laser hair removal, sclerotherapy, and injections, like BOTOX® and Radiesse®.
