Get to know Psychiatrist Dr. William K. Summers, who serves patients in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

An exceptional psychiatrist, Dr. Summers works with patients at his private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In regards to his educational background, he attended the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine, where he pursued his medical degree and graduated in 1971. He then went on to complete a residency in internal medicine at The Jewish Hospital in 1973, followed by a residency in psychiatry at Renard Hospital in 1976.

Holding over five decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). ABPN is a not-for-profit corporation that was founded in 1934 following conferences of committees appointed by the American Psychiatric Association, the American Neurological Association, and the then “Section on Nervous and Mental Diseases” of the American Medical Association.

In his professional experience, Dr. Summers is affiliated with several prominent hospitals, including Alta Vista Regional Hospital and Eastern New Mexico Medical Center.
