Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Aparna Peethambaram, who serves patients in Duluth, Georgia. 

Dr. Peethambaram, a board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatrician, is the Founder of Twinkle Pediatrics, LLC in Duluth, Georgia. In practice since 2009, she provides personalized, friendly service in a fun and caring environment for children of all ages. A firm believer that healthy children build happy communities, she strives to ensure the health of children through preventative care.

Back in 2007, Dr. Peethambaram earned her medical degree from the Mysore Medical College And Research Institute in India. Upon relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron. 

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), which is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. Certification by the ABP has one objective, to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. As a pediatrician, Dr. Peethambaram provides medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. She is trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature. 

A true multilingual, Dr. Peethambaram can speak English, Spanish, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. She lives in Suwanee, Georgia with her husband and two beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys fine arts, traveling, and spending time with her family.
