Education and Experience
Dr. Greyf graduated from the Bachelor of Arts to Doctorate of Dental Surgery program at New York University College of Dentistry in 1996. He completed this accelerated program, which normally takes seven years, in six.
Following dental school, Dr. Greyf undertook a rigorous general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. It was during his residency, in 1996, that he placed his first dental implant and became fascinated by the technology, science, and artistry of the procedure.
After completion of his residency, Dr. Greyf was offered and accepted an attending position in Kings County Hospital Center and an associate clinical professorship at Downstate Medical Center. In the latter position, he trained residents for five years. In 2002 he moved to Manhattan and joined the staff at Metropolitan Hospital Center. There he founded a laser dentistry program and was an early adopter of Biolase lasers.
In 2000, Dr. Greyf opened his private practice in Millburn to offer top-of-the-line service in a modern dental practice.

Professional Affiliations and Continuing Education
Dr. Greyf is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a graduate of the esteemed Misch Implant Institute. In addition, he is a member of the Modern Optimized Dentistry (MOD) Institute. The MOD Institute is a dental continuing education center that blends evidence-based practices with the latest technology and techniques to optimize patient outcomes.
Beyond the Practice
A native of St. Petersburg, Russia, Dr. Greyf has resided in New York City for more than 30 years. Much of his free time is spent with his wife, who is a lawyer, and their two daughters.
Among Dr. Greyf’s many interests are opera, theater, museums, food and wine. He has visited many of the world’s major museums and avidly travels for food experiences and to collect wine.
Additionally, Dr. Greyf is honored to serve on the boards of the Russian American Dental Association and the Museum of Human Rights.

Tooth infection
If antibiotics are not resolving the infection, the tooth may need treatment to save it. If it is no longer salvageable or does not have a reasonable success rate, it may need to be removed. When can I eat after teeth whitening?
You can eat right away, however it is important to avoid any foods or drinks with color in the first day, and staining foods and drinks in the following 2 days. Common staining foods and drinks to avoid: coffee, tea, red wine, cola, ketchup, mustard, soy sauce, tomato sauce, and berries. How can I clean my dental bridge?
If you have a fixed, or non-removable bridge, it should be brushed 2-3 times daily at home and at least 2 x a year by your dental hygienist. Removable bridges or dentures can be cleaned daily with over-the-counter denture cleaners found at your pharmacy. When should I change my partials?
Your mouth can change over time. The average life of a partial denture is 5 years, but can vary based on other dental and health factors. Your partial denture should be changed when it is no longer fitting well, and is no longer serviceable, which will be different for each person.
