Get to know Internist Dr. Yassir Attalla, who serves patients in Southgate, Michigan.

A committed internist specializing in anti-aging and cosmetic medicine, Dr. Attalla sees patients at his private practice – Attalla Aesthetics – in Southgate, Michigan.

With more than 30 years of practicing internal medicine in the Detroit area, he realized that helping patients look their best is an important component of their health and happiness. So, to assist women and men in the downriver and Detroit area become more confident in their appearance, he offers procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, and the latest aesthetic laser treatments at his practice. His patients often refer to him as having the “magic touch” when it comes to achieving beautiful, natural-looking cosmetic and anti-aging results.

Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Attalla graduated with his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He then completed 3 years of residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University Affiliated Hospitals in the Detroit area.

A member of the American College of Physicians, he is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
