Dr. Al-Aouar’s Distinguished Medical Journey and Compassionate Care Approach Set Her Apart in the Field

Dr. Rula Al-Aouar, MD, is a highly esteemed obstetrician-gynecologist with over twenty years of experience in women’s health. She thrives on providing care to women of all ages at her private practice in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. 

Having established herself as a trusted medical professional in the local community, Dr. Al-Aouar is affiliated with Beaumont Hospital, Dearborn, and Beaumont Hospital, Wayne. She also joins Drs. Khraizat, Bui, and Bhullar at Serenity Health Med Spa in Canton, Michigan.

In her line of work, Dr. Al-Aouar educates her patients about lifestyle choices and treatments that not only help prevent disease and maintain health, but also contribute to satisfaction with their appearance, overall well-being, and an enjoyment of life. She values the connections she makes with her patients – and believes that the best medical and aesthetic care results from offering the latest technologies, with close physician follow up and support.

Dr. Al-Aouar embarked on her medical journey at Wayne State University School of Medicine, earning her Medical Degree in 2002. She then completed her internship at the said establishment from 2002 to 2003. 

Furthering her training, Dr. Al-Aouar pursued a residency in neurology at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University in 2003. Subsequently, she transitioned to another residency program at UMMS-Baystate for obstetrics and gynecology, spanning from 2003 to 2004. Following this, she completed another residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ascension Providence/MSUCHM from 2004 to 2007. 

As a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Al-Aouar upholds the highest standards of excellence in her practice. Her patients benefit from her expertise, compassion, and dedication to improving women’s health outcomes.

In addition to her professional achievements, Dr. Al-Aouar is fluent in both English and Arabic, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients and provide culturally sensitive care.
