In regards to his educational background, Dr. Iannamorelli graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2016. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in general surgery at Berkshire Medical Center in 2017 and 2021, respectively. He also completed a fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022.
Subsequent to his training, the doctor attained board certification in general surgery through the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (AOBS). The AOBS is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the use of surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Since September of 2022, Dr. Iannamorelli has been serving as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine.
