Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Jennifer L. Grayson, who serves patients in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Dr. Grayson is a board-certified pediatrician who has been serving the Biloxi, Mississippi area and providing it with exceptional medical care since 2001. She and her staff at Gulf Coast ABC Pediatrics pride themselves on providing compassionate, comprehensive services to children from birth through 19 years of age with the goal of developing a personal relationship with the child and family. 

Finding it a privilege to care for the Gulf Coast’s pediatric population, Dr. Grayson firmly believes that a parent is a child’s first advocate, there is never an inappropriate time to call for assistance (day or night) and once a child enters the doors of her practice, he or she is family. 

A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), which is one of the 24 certifying boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties. Founded in 1933, the ABP is an independent, nonprofit organization whose certificate is recognized throughout the world as a credential signifying a high level of physician competence. Certification by the ABP has one objective – to promote excellence in medical care for children and adolescents.

Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Grayson received her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1997. She then went on to complete her residency at The University of South Alabama in 2000 before relocating to Biloxi in 2001. 

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. As a pediatrician, Dr. Grayson provides medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. She is trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature. 

When asked what she likes best about her job, Dr. Grayson answered: “Being involved completely in the physical and social health of my babies from birth to college.”
