With a comprehensive skill set, Dr. Naoum specializes in both open and endovascular approaches to treat conditions such as carotid and subclavian disease, aorto-iliac concerns encompassing aneurysms and occlusive diseases, peripheral arterial disease addressing aneurysmal issues, occlusive diseases, and limb salvage procedures.
Additionally, he excels in the management of venous disorders, spanning venous insufficiency, spider and varicose veins, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and central occlusive diseases. His proficiency extends to the creation, revision, and maintenance of various dialysis accesses, encompassing central venous, peritoneal, and arteriovenous techniques.
A 1998 graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Dr. Naoum went on to complete his residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He followed up with a fellowship in vascular surgery at the prestigious Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
Dr. Naoum moved to the Middle-east where he joined the Lebanese American University (LAU) and the University Medical Center Rizk Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon and also opened a clinic in Doha, Qatar where he delivered expert care to patients from the MENA region and South Asia for several years. He has returned to the Houston Methodist Hospital System, joining the staff at Houston Methodist Clear Lake Hospital.
Board certified in vascular surgery, Dr. Naoum is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery (ABS). The ABS is an independent, non-profit organization located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, founded for the purpose of certifying surgeons who have met a defined standard of education, training, and knowledge.
