Get to know Internist Dr. Bahae Ebrahem, who serves patients in Southgate, Michigan.

Dr. Ebrahem is a professional in the field of internal medicine with a focus on pediatric primary care. He practices out of Southgate Medical Center in Southgate, Michigan.

With a solid educational background, Dr. Ebrahem graduated with his medical degree from Al Mustansiriya University College of Medicine in Iraq in 1989. He then went on to serve his internship and residency in internal medicine/pediatrics at Tod Children’s Hospital in 2006 and 2007, respectively. 

Holding over three decades of experience, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Internal medicine is the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of adult diseases. Physicians specializing in internal medicine are called internists. They manage and prevent common and complex diseases by providing comprehensive care and promoting overall well-being.
