Dr. Smith completed her undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1985. Furthering her education she then graduated from the University of California San Francisco, School of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science Dental Sciences and Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1994, giving her over two decades of experience in her field Dr. Smith has received additional certification from the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique Academy and has earned the Advanced Soft Tissue Laser Certification. To stay up to date in her field, she remains a professional member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association, additionally she has been inducted as a Diplomat with the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. Dr. Smith currently practices within her private practice where her patients, have nothing but positive experiences with her.
