Glendale Heights dentist, Dr. Bhumika Patel, opened her own start-up dental practice, Glendale Heights Family Dental, in December of 2014.

Glendale Heights Family Dental provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dental services, crowns, veneers, root canals. Implants, All-on-X, Extractions, Invisalign, Botox and Fillers to patients of all ages. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, with state-of-the-art amenities and technologically advanced examination rooms that provide the comfort that patients seek.

Academically, Dr. Bhumika Patel received her  Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at North Central College, where she served as a president of Pre-Health Organization and received an exemplary Biology Award. She continued on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2010. After her dental degree, Dr. Patel did extensive continuing education in dental implants, all-on-x, oral sedation Botox, Fillers and Invisalign

Prior to her current endeavors, she worked as a dentist for four years at a dental office in Elgin, Illinois. She also provided dental services to the underserved population in West Chicago, as well as, completed a mission trip to Guatemala.

An active member of the dental community, Dr. Patel has memberships in the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and American Academy of Clear Aligners. Furthermore, she serves as Chief Clinical Officer for Zinnovi Inc, creators of the breakthrough technology Air2Zed, which improves the overall patient and staff experience.

Happily married, Dr. Patel and her husband are parents to two lovely daughters. They are blessed to have great family and friends whom they enjoy spending time with. For fun, the family enjoys outdoor activities like playing tennis, hiking, and biking.

Dr. Patel is fluent in four languages—English, Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati—and is grateful to be able to serve patients from a variety of backgrounds. Dr Patel says “My ultimate goal for the community we serve is to create an environment that focuses more on prevention. Hence, we spend a significant amount of time educating our patients on preventative habits to be able to smile with confidence all day and every day!”
