Get to know Cardiologist Dr. Kavitha Nidamanuri, who serves patients throughout the State of Ohio.

An Ohio-based cardiologist, Dr. Nidamanuri is in practice at Aultman Deuble Heart and Vascular Hospital – Cardiovascular Consultants, seeing patients at their locations in Minerva, Dover, Canton, and Carrollton.

A native of India, Dr. Nidamanuri graduated with her medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College in 2000. After relocating to the United States, she completed her residency in internal medicine at the Unity Health System in 2008, and her fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Baystate Medical Center in 2011.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor attained board certification in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Moreover, she is board-certified in adult comprehensive echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography, and in nuclear cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Cardiology is a branch of medicine that deals with the disorders of the heart, as well as some parts of the circulatory system. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease, and electrophysiology. Cardiologists are doctors who diagnose, assess, and treat patients with diseases and defects of the heart and blood vessels (the cardiovascular system).
