Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Veronica Santilli, who serves patients in Brooklyn, New York.

Dr. Santilli is a caring pediatrician at Brook Island Pediatric Group in Brooklyn, New York. Her specialities include adolescent medicine, pediatrics and internal medicine/pediatrics.

Back in the early days of her academic career, Dr. Santilli graduated with her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1966. She then went on to perform her residency in pediatrics at Maimonides Medical Center in 1969.

Following her training, she attained board certification in pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Licensed to practice medicine in New York, Dr. Santilli is affiliated with Maimonides Medical Center and NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends people be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.

Among her most notable achievements, Dr. Santilli is the recipient of Patients’ Choice Award (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017) and Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).

On a more personal note, she speaks several languages, including English, Italian, Spanish, and Russian.
