Dr. Maxime G. Savard, a distinguished podiatric foot and ankle surgeon, has been an integral part of the Ochsner Health Center team since 2012. He currently operates out of Ochsner Health Center - Kenner, Suite 500, bringing his advanced skills and compassionate care to the Kenner community.

Specializing in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Savard’s expertise encompasses a wide range of procedures including trauma care, limb salvage, and sports medicine. Patients can trust in his commitment to providing personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual needs.

Dr. Savard’s journey to becoming a leading podiatric surgeon began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 2002. He then pursued his passion for podiatric medicine, earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree from Barry University’s School of Podiatric Medicine in 2006. Following his academic achievements, Dr. Savard completed a rigorous residency program in podiatric medicine and surgery at Baptist Health South Miami Hospital in Florida.

With a dedication to excellence, Dr. Savard holds board certification in foot and hindfoot/ankle surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His commitment to staying at the forefront of his field is further demonstrated by his esteemed recognition as a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS).
