Natural treatment for kidney stone?
This is an excellent question. A lot of kidney stones could be caused by decreased fluid intake which can make the urine very concentrated and increases the risk for kidney stones. By increasing fluid intake to set a goal of urine flow of more than 3 liters a day, you can decrease the risk of forming some kidney stones. Also, increasing intake of citrus fruits can decrease risk of kidney stones. READ MORE
Prognosis?
Ciprofloxacin can be harmful to the kidneys as it can cause crystals in the kidneys and may worsen renal function. It should be used with extreme caution in the elderly with kidney disease and the dose should be adjusted to the level of kidney function or an alternative medicine can be used instead. The prognosis with 14% kidney function depends on a lot of factors including comorbidities and if there is symptoms from renal failure. READ MORE
Is there any way to pass a kidney stone more quickly?
There is a good chance that a kidney stone may pass faster and less painfully, if the kidney stone is less than 5 mm and the patient increases his fluid intake and takes a medicine called Flomax which relaxes the smooth muscle and improves urine flow. READ MORE
