Back in 1975, Dr. Aldridge graduated with his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He then went on to perform his residency in General Surgery and his fellowship in Cardiothoracic surgery at the State University of Buffalo Consortium of Hospitals – the Buffalo General Hospital, the Roswell Park Memorial Hospital, the Buffalo Children’s Hospital and the Buffalo Veterans Hospital.
Subsequent to his education, he is a Fellow of the American Board of Surgery and the doctor attained board certification in thoracic and cardiac surgery through the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS). The ABTS is an American surgical organization devoted to surgery of the heart, great vessels, and the chest.
A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Aldridge is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians.
