Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. Mohammed A. Aziz, who serves patients in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

Being a board-certified and fellowship-trained pulmonologist, Dr. Aziz’s clinical interests include ICU delirium & post-ICU syndrome, interstitial lung diseases, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis/septic shock, and sleep disorders. He can be found on staff at Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

In the early days of his academic career, Dr. Aziz earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan in 1990. Upon relocating to the United States, he went on to serve his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in pulmonary disease at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. He also completed an additional fellowship in critical care medicine at New York Medical College. 

Among his professional affiliations, he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, as well as a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Academy of Hospice & Palliative Medicine.

Dedicated to excellence, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, sleep medicine, as well as hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
