Get to know Family Physician Dr. Sayed Elsayyad, who serves patients in Rockville, Maryland.

Well-versed in the field of family medicine, Dr. Elsayyad is the Chief Medical Officer and a Partner at Montgomery Medical Associates. Since joining in 2005, he has contributed significantly to the expansion of the practice in geriatric medicine.

Founded in 2001, Montgomery Medical Associates, PC, is a multi-specialty practice specializing in geriatric medicine, nursing home patient care, office practice, hospital medicine, physical medicine & rehabilitation, podiatry, infectious disease and home-based primary care. Their physicians and nurse practitioners diligently serve their patients with highest standards of ethics, quality of care, empathy and respect. In addition to treating the patient’s illness, they also focus on how the illness affects patients and their family members.

A native of Egypt, Dr. Elsayyad completed his medical education and residency in internal medicine at the Ain Shams University Faculty of Medicine. After relocating to the United States, he completed a residency in family medicine at Louisiana State University.

As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Among his other roles, he serves as the Director of Transitional Care & Subacute Rehabilitation at Shady Grove Center Nursing Home, and can be found on staff at Suburban Hospital.
