Thrive OB/GYN, PA, founded by board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. Ana Garcia Iguaran, is redefining women’s health care in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale area. Since its inception in 2016, Thrive OB/GYN has championed a patient-centered model, ensuring that every woman receives personalized and compassionate care that respects the doctor-patient relationship.

Dr. Garcia Iguaran, who is also a general physician and NAPRO technology medical consultant, recognized that traditional waiting rooms often create a negative experience for patients. “Waiting rooms can spoil your day,” she says. “I wanted to create a practice that prioritizes convenience, affordability, and respect for each patient.” Her vision has culminated in a dedicated team that shares her passion for transforming the patient experience into a journey of discovery, making visits to the doctor not just unique but truly exceptional.

At Thrive OB/GYN, patients receive comprehensive gynecology and obstetrics care through the lens of the Creighton Model fertility care system. This innovative approach empowers women to understand their bodies better, enabling effective communication with healthcare providers. Dr. Garcia Iguaran utilizes NAPRO technology to develop individualized treatment plans that are rooted in science and aligned with the patient’s natural cycle.

Dr. Garcia Iguaran’s medical journey began in Colombia, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine Degree from Universidad El Bosque in 2003. Her extensive training includes a residency in internal medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln,  obstetrics and gynecology at Flushing Hospital Medical Center and Stamford Hospital. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science Degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

Also serving as the Founder of Mater Dei Clinic in Ave Maria, Florida, Dr. Iguaran remains committed to healthy fetal development and providing complete, merciful care to her pre-, intra-, and post-gestational patients. A devoted mother of five, she understands the importance of nurturing both maternal and fetal health.
