Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Lisa Meringer, who serves patients in Morristown, New Jersey.

Focusing on reproductive care from puberty through adulthood, Dr. Meringer is trained in obstetrical care and minimally invasive surgery techniques for gynecologic conditions. She is affiliated with Morristown Medical Center.

A native of Randolph, New Jersey, Dr. Meringer graduated with her medical degree from the Drexel University College of Medicine in 2016. She then went on to perform her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at St. Luke’s University Hospital.

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Attributing her success to being a trained athlete in softball, Dr. Meringer believes that it has helped her with managing with time and being competent.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.

As a mother of 5 girls herself, Dr. Meringer is great at managing just about anything that can happen. She is known for being very calm.
