Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Michelle Kolsi, who serves patients in Glendale, California.

A devoted physician, Dr. Kolsi has treated pediatric patients for more than a decade at her private practice in Glendale, California. From annual checkups, child development, immunizations, and newborn care to autism, asthma, common childhood infections, and eczema, she firmly believes in providing exceptional medical care and creating long-lasting relationships with her patients.

Born and raised in Irvine, California, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley where she studied British Literature and Molecular Biology before venturing east to Chicago Medical School to obtain her medical degree. After completing her residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, she worked as a pediatric hospitalist before committing herself to outpatient general pediatrics.

Distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Holding a license to practice medicine in California, Dr. Kolsi can be found on staff at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, Huntington Hospital, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends individuals be under pediatric care up to the age of 21. Pediatricians provide medical care to people ranging in age from newborns to young adults. They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat children with a wide variety of injuries and illnesses through all of their developmental stages, as they grow and mature.
