Get to know General Practitioner Dr. Jaime G. Rodríguez Quinquilla, who serves patients in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.

Dr. Quinquilla is a general practitioner working at Centro De Medicina Familiar Y Geriatria in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.

The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the  Ibero-American University in Mexico in 2010. He then went on to perform his internship at Manatí Medical Center in Puerto Rico.

Specializing in family medicine and geriatrics, he remains a member of the College of Physicians – Surgeons of Puerto Rico.

In the medical profession, a general practitioner (GP) is a medical doctor who treats acute and chronic illnesses and provides preventive care and health education to patients. A GP manages types of illnesses that present in an undifferentiated way at an early stage of development and may require urgent intervention.

On a more personal note, Dr. Quinquilla’s favorite place to vacation is on the beach. Outside of practicing medicine, he enjoys surfing and kitesurfing.
