Dr. Sarah Carpenter, DDS, a board certified pediatric dentist with a passion for nurturing healthy smiles, is the esteemed owner of Homegrown Pediatric Dentistry in Spicewood, Texas. With a commitment to gentle and conservative techniques, Dr. Carpenter aims to create a warm and welcoming environment where infants, children, teens, and those with special healthcare needs receive top-notch dental care.

At Homegrown Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Carpenter focuses not only on dental health but also on creating positive experiences for her young patients. Boasting a stellar educational background, Dr. Carpenter obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree with The Highest Honors Award from Omicron Kappa Upsilon at UCSF School of Dentistry in 2014. Her dedication to pediatric dentistry led her to complete a residency at the University of Southern California in 2016, after which she was placed at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles to gain extensive knowledge in hospital dentistry and specialized care for children with unique needs.

Before founding Homegrown Pediatric Dentistry in 2023, Dr. Carpenter excelled as the lead associate dentist at Lone Star Pediatric Dental & Braces, solidifying her reputation as a compassionate and skilled practitioner in the field. Her professional affiliations include memberships in the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Capital Area Dental Society.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Carpenter cherishes her role as a devoted wife and mother to three young children in the vibrant community of Spicewood. Together with her family, she enjoys engaging in various outdoor activities, including wake surfing on Lake Travis, attending community sporting and local church events, and exploring the scenic trails of Pace Bend Park.
