An experienced otolaryngologist and head & neck surgeon, Dr. Liou practices at Jamail Specialty Care Center at Baylor College of Medicine. His professional interests include general otolaryngology, thyroid & parathyroid surgery, salivary gland neoplasms, endoscopic sinus surgery, cancer of the head and neck, thyroid cancer, thyroid nodules, thyroid goiter, surgical treatment of Graves’ disease, and hyperparathyroidism.

As for his academic position, he serves as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

With a focus on the head and neck anatomy, the doctor is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABO-HNS). The ABO-HNS serves the public by ensuring that diplomates meet the standards of training, knowledge, and professionalism through initial and continuing certification.

Licensed to practice medicine in Texas, Dr. Liou can be found on staff at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center and Houston Methodist Hospital.

In addition to being a A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, he is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
