A highly trained prosthodontist, Dr. Wang established Concord Dental Associates in Boston, Massachusetts in 1999. His private practice encompasses all aspects of restorative dentistry, including aesthetic, functional, and reconstructive procedures.
The Concord Dental Group includes different dental specialty offices, i.e., Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Periodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, and General Dentistry. An expert in Sirona Galileo & CEREC systems, Dr. Wang’s focus is in prosthodontics, as well as esthetic, implant dentistry, reconstructive, and digital dentistry.
Educated in the United States, Dr. Wang received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Medical Science degree & a 5-year certificate in Prosthodontics from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1999.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Wang was a clinical instructor in the post-graduate Prosthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine for 17 years. He taught courses in (1) Occlusion, (2) TMD, (3) Clinical Fixed Prosthodontics, (4) Laboratory Fixed Prosthodontics, (5) Aesthetics Dentistry, and (6) Full Mouth Reconstruction.
Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Department of General Dentistry at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dedicated to staying on top of the latest diagnostic tools and treatments, Dr. Wang is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American College of Prosthodontists, and the American Academy of Osseointegration.
Prosthodontics, also known as dental prosthetics or prosthetic dentistry, is the area of dentistry that focuses on dental prostheses. Prosthodontists specialize in replacing missing teeth and associated oral structures by determining the type of dental prostheses required, having customized dental prostheses manufactured, and fitting them in patients’ mouths. They also treat temporomandibular disorders and various issues associated with damaged and problematic teeth.
Having lectured both nationally and internationally, Dr. Wang has spoken to symposiums regarding the newest advancements in dental technique and dental materials.
With a commitment to excellence in clinical and academic training, he has been the recipient of many awards and distinctions, including OKU National Dental Honor Society, Outstanding Faculty Award 3 times & Most Delicate Faculty Award 3 times from Prosthodontics, Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
On a more personal note, Dr. Wang is fluent in English and Mandarin.
