  • Carbon dioxide narcosis?

Hi. Yes, hypercapnia can develop without obvious symptoms by symptom, we mean something unusual experienced and voiced by the patient. Hypercapnia rarely develops without signs, meaning a physical or behavioral alteration that can be noticed by others. As a health professional, you did notice a sign, but not a symptom you noticed that the patient appeared to be sleeping. Excessive somnolence and narcolepsy are signs of hypercapnia. In this case, the patient was not awake, could not be aroused awake at the appropriate time, and fell into unconsciousness so the patient was therefore unable to relay to you the symptom before she became unconscious. Other symptoms of hypercapnia include shortness of breath, headaches, confusion, disorientation, persistent fatigue, seizures, a sense of doom, and other changes in mood mental status. However, as in this case, the condition can progress rapidly, resulting in an extreme condition state of unconsciousness before symptoms even occur which is the same as saying hypercapnia can progress rapidly, before symptoms can even be voiced. I hope that answers the question. Best wishes, READ MORE
