Dr. Brown serves in several leadership roles at Fondren Orthopedic Group, including President and member of the Management Committee, Recruitment/Retirement Committee, and Physician Compensation Committee. His commitment to excellence is further evidenced by his affiliations with Texas Orthopedic Hospital and The Woman's Hospital of Texas, where he works collaboratively to enhance patient outcomes.

Specializing in both arthroscopic and open reconstructive surgery, Dr. Brown offers a comprehensive range of services, including knee arthroscopy, shoulder arthroscopy, acromioclavicular ligament reconstruction, shoulder replacement, meniscus surgery, and various ligament reconstructions. His expertise allows him to adeptly diagnose and treat a variety of orthopedic conditions, whether they arise from sports injuries or everyday activities. By utilizing the latest minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Brown aims to facilitate quick recovery times and return his patients to their active lifestyles.

Dr. Brown's educational background is impressive; he completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in 1997, followed by a Medical Degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 2001. His residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine was completed in 2006, and he further honed his skills with a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery, Weill Medical College, Cornell University in New York, concluding in 2007. 

As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Brown adheres to the highest standards of practice, ensuring patient safety and care quality. An active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, he continually seeks to expand his knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving field of orthopedic medicine.

When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Brown enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including golf, tennis, snow skiing, and horseback riding, as well as spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
