You are asking a complex question for the treatment is a disc herniation. First of all, is there radiation of pain or numbness to the arms or legs, second is there motor weakness, third are the deep tendon reflexes over-bounding? These are symptoms of a severe level of injury. What are the MRI findings? These are the things you and your Doctor need to discuss to determine your best treatment options.
