Following the completion of his medical degree from the College of Health Sciences at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria in 1993, Dr. Imevbore relocated to the United States to further his education. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Rochester, followed by his fellowship at Norwalk Hospital.
With over two decades of experience in his field, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine, sleep medicine, and pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Additionally, he is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a Consultant Pulmonologist and Intensivist at Yale-New Haven Hospital, as well as on the Board of Trustees at the MicCom Cancer Foundation.
