Prior to dental school, Dr. Batista studied Biochemistry at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, and graduated with a minor degree in Social Sciences. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2004 and followed in her father’s footsteps to practice family and cosmetic dentistry. 

Holding over two decades of experience in the field of dentistry, Dr. Batista is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. 

With a love for her profession, she has kept up to date in her field with intensive courses in orthodontics, oral surgery, implants, Invisalign, and dental pharmacology.

Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens.
