It has given me the opportunity to interact with an exceptional group of physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses in both cardiology and cardiac surgery in a hospital which is equally well-staffed in all other specialties. It has allowed me to do research in the area of regurgitant heart valve disease and to teach at many levels. Most of all, it has made it possible for me to be part of a team capable of the highest level of care for any patient with cardiac disease.” as stated by Dr. Hochreiter.
Alongside being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
